Supported Domain Extensions on DIY Website Builder

Short intro about AWS integration and domain management.

Overview

DIY Website Builder allows you to register and manage domains directly through our platform. All domain registrations and DNS services are powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) Route 53), ensuring fast, secure, and globally reliable domain performance.

Supported Domain Extensions (TLDs)

You can register a wide range of popular Top-Level Domains (TLDs), including:

  • .com
  • .net
  • .org
  • .info
  • .biz
  • .co
  • .us
  • .io
  • .me
  • .site
  • .online
  • .store
  • .tech
  • .dev
  • .app

and many others supported by AWS Route 53.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Already have a domain? You can migrate it to DIY Website Builder and manage everything β€” from your DNS settings to website hosting β€” all in one place.

Unsupported Domains

Because domain registration is handled through AWS Route 53, certain country-code top-level domains (ccTLDs) are not supported. These include:

  • .uk (United Kingdom)
  • .ng (Nigeria)
  • .za (South Africa)
  • .gh (Ghana)

If your domain uses any of these extensions, migration isn’t currently supported. We recommend using a supported global domain (such as .com or .co) for your website on DIY Website Builder.

You can find the full list of supported domain extensions on the official AWS documentation here:
